DALLAS, Texas - 05/26/06 - Today RAZOR, a business building agency that specializes in customer level marketing, announced the launch of RAZOR Digital, an interactive marketing and Web development practice. The group represents the completion of a merger of Dallas-based Andara Digital and certain aspects of existing RAZOR operations. Using a holistic approach, the new group will focus on the integration of Web development, e-mail marketing and search marketing into the traditional marketing mix.
According to RAZOR President Tom Cole, "Rather than approaching the Web as a stand-alone platform, we believe that an integrated approach provides better results for our clients. Andara was a perfect fit for our business, and they put us in a stronger position to deliver value on the digital front."
John South will serve as the Managing Principal of the new group. John adds, "Interactive should be treated like an equal channel capable of supporting and extending broader marketing initiatives. Being effective in the digital economy requires getting into the minds of your target audience and understanding how they interact with your brand across all of the customer touch points. We know that integrating the digital components into the broader mix delivers measurable ROI. It just makes good business sense."
Through a succession of entities starting with the formation of FS3 Interactive in 1995 and a merger with Rare Medium in 1998, Andara Digital brings over 10 years of interactive experience to RAZOR. Past clients have included JCPenney, CompUSA, Pizza Hut, AT&T, TXU, Compucom and CenturyTel.
