DALLAS, Texas - 12/04/06 - RAZOR, a business building agency that specializes in customer level marketing, has promoted two senior level staffers to the position of Senior Director of Client or Creative Services. The new positions are based in the Dallas headquarters of the rapidly-growing, three-year-old business.
Lauraliisa Gudgeon - Senior Director, Client Services: Lauraliisa Gudgeon joined RAZOR in May 2005 as Director, and was recently promoted to Senior Director, Client Services. In this position she is responsible for strategic planning and account management for Rent-A-Center. She has worked extensively in the rent-to-own industry for the past 11 years, primarily on the Rent-A-Center business.
Prior to joining RAZOR, Gudgeon worked with current RAZOR Co-Presidents and Managing Principals Dave Kirwan and Tom Cole at EURO RSCG (formerly Brann) for five years, most recently as Director of Client Services. She has also worked for Levenson & Hill and started her career in marketing at Central Rents in California.
Gudgeon earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Heather Thomas - Senior Director, Client Services: Heather Thomas has been promoted from Director to Senior Director, Client Services at RAZOR. In this position she will work with RAZOR principals to develop, lead and execute a strategic vision for Baskin-Robbins.
Thomas has 11 years of agency experience working with numerous retail and restaurant clients. She has most recently worked with companies such as Popeye's Chicken and Biscuits, Pizza Hut, Rent-A-Center and Habitat for Humanity. Prior to joining RAZOR, Thomas held account service positions at Euro RSCG and Ackerman McQueen in Dallas, where she gained experience in franchisee management, trade area planning, brand management and local store marketing.
